Some people doubt the authenticity of the Quran. The Quran itself has cleared all types of skeptics’ concerns regarding it. The following are the verses, which clear the air about the authenticity of the Quran.
“Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.” Quran An-Nisa [4:82]
To judge the authenticity of the Quran, there is one simple method. One needs to read the Quran and to meditate over it. Of course, the method is harder than it sounds. However, this is the true method to judge the authenticity of anything. The Quran throws an open challenge to those who doubt it. Read the Quran, meditate over it, and find a discrepancy. Of course, no one has ever been able to find a discrepancy in the Quran. Therefore, when one cannot find a discrepancy in something then of course that is something authentic.
“And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds.” QuranYunus [10:37]
The people who know or have even a slight familiarity with the Arabic language would immediately understand this verse of the Quran. When the Quran was revealed, even the non-believers understood that the language of the scripture is divinely. It was truly a miracle. The Arabs were too proud of their linguistics. However, when they read or heard Quran they were truly amazed. This is because the language of the Quran is so different that it does not seem to be a speech of a humanly figure. Therefore, the above-mentioned verse is also indicative of the very fact.
The next verse is self-explanatory for the people who say that why the Quran is revealed in Arabic and not in any other language.
“And if We had sent this as a Qur’an in a foreignlanguage (other than Arabic), they would have said: “Why are not its Verses explained in detail (in our language)? What! (A Book) not in Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?” Say: “It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) in their ears, and it (the Qur’an) is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand).Quran Fussilat [41:44]
